Ottavia maakt sinds 2007 deel uit van het client consulting team van bfinance, eerst in Londen en later in Rome. Zij werkte voordien voor Goldman Sachs in Londen en begon haar loopbaan als analiste in de divisie Private Wealth Management bij Morgan Stanley in Milaan. Ottavia heeft ook ervaring in de hotel- en vrijetijdssector. Zij heeft een BA (Hons) behaald aan het University College in Londen en een Postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies aan de London School of Economics.
