Sam staat aan het hoofd van de afdeling klantenadvies van bfinance in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland. Hij is ook de onafhankelijke adviseur van het Cambridgeshire Pension Fund. Sam kwam in 2004 bij bfinance als Senior Associate in het onderzoeksteam, waar hij zich richtte op de selectie van managers in een breed scala van beleggingscategorieën, voordat hij de overstap maakte naar client consulting. Hij leidde ook de uitbreiding van het bedrijf naar de VS in 2016. Voordat hij bij bfinance kwam, werkte Sam 4 jaar bij Standard & Poor's in hun fondsrating business. Sam is in het bezit van het CFA charter, IMC en Series 7, 24, 62 en 79 diploma's, naast een MA (Oxon) in wiskunde van de Universiteit van Oxford.
