David Vafai è fondatore e CEO di bfinance. È responsabile della gestione e dello sviluppo del gruppo. Prima di fondare bfinance nel 1999, David ha lavorato presso Mercer a Toronto, Goldman Sachs International a Londra e Bertelsmann a Parigi.

Benjamin Legrand
Senior Director, Responsabile dei sistemi informatici
Benjamin è entrato in bfinance nel 2005 ed è responsabile dello sviluppo e dell'infrastruttura IS di bfinance. Prima di entrare in bfinance, Benjamin ha trascorso 8 anni come consulente dei sistemi informatici presso PwC e presso una società di consulenza IT che ha co-fondato.

Kathryn è entrata in bfinance nel 2016 ed è responsabile dei contenuti e delle pubblicazioni per gli investitori. Da gennaio 2020 è presidente del comitato per gli investimenti responsabili ed ESG dell’azienda.

Mark Mortlock is Marketing Director at bfinance. Mark is responsible for all aspects of marketing across the bfinance brand, both online and offline. He has extensive experience in website development, brand management, search engine marketing, social media and automation marketing. Mark joined bfinance in 2017. Mark holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Communications, a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing (PG Dip DigM) from the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) and a Google Squared qualification in digital leadership.

Kathryn Saklatvala
Senior Director, Head of Investment Content
Kathryn joined bfinance in 2016 and oversees the firm’s investment content, thought leadership publications and investor research. She has also, since January 2020, been Chair of the firm's ESG and Responsible Investment Committee. An experienced writer, editor and researcher focused on investment management and institutional investors, Kathryn was previously a Managing Editor at Euromoney Institutional Investor. She holds a BA (Hons) and an MA from the University of Cambridge. Other previous roles include Editor of the Institutional Investor Networks, Director of the Sovereign Investor Institute and Associate Director of the European Institute. She has spoken and moderated at various industry conferences (OECD, World Bank Group, AVCA, IRN, Institutional Investor), been quoted occasionally in the press (Financial Times, Responsible Investor, Citywire) and been interviewed by the BBC on sovereign wealth fund trends.

Senior Director, Head of Information Systems
Benjamin joined bfinance in 2005 and, as Director, Head of Information Systems, is in charge of bfinance’s IS infrastructure and development initiatives. Prior to joining bfinance, Benjamin spent 8 years as a consultant in Information Systems at PwC and at an IT service company he co-founded. As a consultant, Benjamin was involved in large IT projects for BNP Paribas, Société Générale and Archon Group (subsidiary of Goldman Sachs). He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from a french Grande Ecole.
